comment Why was the “Ark of the Covenant” lost?
@Seth J Thanks for updating me. So Talmud being a text central to Jewish mainstream, should be able to pinpoint the exact location and the Ark should have been found by now! Why it is still hidden?

@Monica Cellio What makes the God controversial between a Jew and a Muslim? As far as i know both worship the same omnipotent, one single God. FYI: judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/14461/…

@YDK What about the notion of being a Jew and not believing in God at the same time, only because you are born to a Jewish mother or Jewish parents! So an atheist can also be a jew only because that person is born to jewish paresnt(s)! How?This is notion is something entirely based on racism. Do correct me if this is wrong. On the other hand Islam makes mandatory for every Muslim to believe in one God and to respect all the prohpets form Adam to Muhammad (May peace and blessings be upon all of them).

The first man who is claimed to be a Jew by the Jews was not practicing Judaism in its entireity! How and what? What about Moses (may peace and blessings be upon him)? And what made him a devout Jew? Also why the term "Yehudi" is not mentioned in the Hebrew Bible?

You can never say "he may have indeed faced Jerusalem", because if he had done that then the Hebrew Bible must have mentioned about it.

Isn't that true that Jews are suppose to pray 3 times a day facing Jerusalem? If you claim Abraham to be the first Jew on the planet then why don't we see him praying the ways Jews do nowadays? After all, he was the first Jew as you claim!

The matter of the fact is that he was a devout monotheist who worshipped one God, believed in sacrifice and lived all his life away from paganism. The Hebrew Bible has all of that facts. But he never prayed facing to Jerusalem, never celebrated Yom Kippur, or other Jewish practices!

So are you telling that Avraham (Abraham) used to practice all the Jewish traditions the modern Jews nowadays do? This isn't a fact.

comment (Why) is the construction of the 3rd Temple necessary to restore peace in the world?
@avi What really makes you to state "earthquake or other divine action causes the Dome to collapse"? Mosque, a place of worship where Jews are also welcomed and permissible to pray the way they like is not tolerated! Why? I am a Muslim and a student of Comparative Religion. I frankly feel that we both are the children of Abraham (may peace and blessings be upon him and his followers) who worshipped one God! Jews and Muslims, both must strive for means to coexist peacefully and hence forming a society where both laws can be run in parallel to each other as they both share the same roots.

@YDK I am a Muslim and a student of comparative religion. Islam welcomes everyone when it come to preaching i.e. everyone and anyone with no discrimination of race or religion.

@YDK If we go through the essentials or fundamentals of both the books even today i.e. Torah and the Quran, we find huge similarities and very minor differences. There are some but both communities can dwell peacefully side by side.
