not at all - it is perfectly fine, but each site will have to determine if the question fits in their scope. I edited it to better fit our site, but it may already be answered by another question on BH.SE, albeit not directly.

Thanks for responding @User (it verifies you're a human being and not a spambot). We get a little suspicious at postings from doomsday cults, it's been an issue in the past.

FYI this was posted at BH.SE also, we're wondering if it's a genuine question or thinly veiled spam.

comment What sources, prior to the 19th century, support or refute the existence of the Council of Jamnia/Yavneh?
Thanks @MonicaCellio ! I actually anticipated crickets on this question. I'm pretty confident this council was invented by a historian in 1871, despite his claim to have drawn on Mishnaic and Talmudic sources.

comment What ancient sources discuss the meaning of Psalm 22?
@ba Ok, gotcha. I was confused at first because I didn't know who Yonasan was, but I though better of editing it in case there was a good explanation like this (I am only a beginner in Hebrew, took only a couple semesters). Thank you for clarifying!

@ba thanks for the update. I didn't want to edit your answer as it is a simple typo, but I believe you mean Targum Yonatan, not Yonasan ;) Thanks again for your response! I appreciate it!

It says, "Our Sages, however, interpreted it as referring to Esther (Mid. Ps. 22:1, Meg. 15b)." Where could I find these works. I do not know what the abbreviations are for.

How old is Rashi's commentary? I was hoping to find something BCE.

Hello @Zvi thank you for your enlightening answer. I was hoping you might also consider responding to this question concerning the date of these sources.

The intended implication was that my marriage would be holy unto G-d/Hashem.
