comment On Shabbat, if one can't sleep, may one consume valerian tea? Valerian root powder? Other non-prescription remedies?
Dear readers: Or you could take a time-release melatonin tablet before Shabbat starts. Some claim to work for as long as eight hours. But be careful, in general, with slow-release melatonin products. The large doses of melatonin included (sometimes 3 mg or more of melatonin!) may overwhelm your system, cause tolerance to your body's endogenous melatonin, and may cause sleeping problems a day or two later. Ask a doctor or specialist.

Thanks for your question. As Aryeh points out below, there's more than one book by that title. Could you please tell us the name of the author of the book you want?

@IsaacMoses: Were these rabbis (such as synagogue rabbis) who were asked wide-ranging questions by members of the congregation and who would provide answers?

@NBZ: 1. Were you the prayer leader, or was someone else? 2. Are you proud, or sad?

revised Shabbat afternoon, when lounging on the couch, is it OK to wear sweatpants?
1. Slight copyediting. 2. The OP wasn't proposing that we should wear sweatpants all day; s/he was proposing that we wear them only on the couch. Editing title to make this clear.

Splendid question! But I have not upvoted it, since it includes a phrase I don't understand. What does "kefitzat ha'diburim" mean? Your question is the only Google search result on the entire Internet for those two words. It would be most excellent if you could please edit your question and convert the phrase into English.

Dear Neiro_yair: Your words are useful; thank you for them. However, as @Matt pointed out, they don't answer the question. I have therefore downvoted your post. You should know that the post may get flagged and deleted at any time. You might want to move all or part of it into the self-answer to a new question — before it's too late. If you don't understand, or if you need help doing this, feel free to contact us in Mi Yodeya Chat.
