comment Why is the Sefer Shmuel called Shmuel?
@CharlesKoppelman Moshe was the greatest prophet in terms of how God communicated to him. See Bamidbar 12. Its qualitative not quantitative

@bcholbeisineeman i did, but it would make this question much more valid if it was an independent question that doesn't rely on or follow up another. Especially since you neither portray it as a follow up nor point to its sources in your question. Good Q tho

@bcholbeisineeman speaking of not citing sources... where did you get this miscarriage idea from exactly?

comment Is there a point of wearing a talis that does not require tzitzis?
A quick search of Yabia Omer for the phrase "טלית שאולה" brings up a whole bunch of teshuvot. Several even address this question: see for example Yabia Omer O"C 9:81:8. perhaps someone will take the time to write up an answer from there.

comment Does one have to return the specific bills that one stole?
@Alex IIRC a distinction is made cuz money in their day had intrinsic value (the coin was actually 1 g of gold) while today its more along the lines of a shetar (it represents 1 g of gold)

comment Is the hadran a shevua?
Perhaps that points to evidence that it isn't, but it doesn't provide a halachic reason for it not to be, which is what askers on this site are generally looking for. -1 That's besides the fact that your answer is based on the assumption that if Hadran Alakh was a shevua, it would be binding for three regalim, for which you provide no halachic evidence.

comment Why doesn't Chabad read Ruth on Shavuot?
Many sepharadim include the entire Rut in the Tikkun Lel Shavu'ot (as opposed to snippets from the book, as with other sifrei nevi'im and ketuvim).

Sepharadim dont read Rut or Kohelet publicly the way Ashkenazim do

comment Is all-night Shavu'ot learning as prevelant in the Southern Hemisphere?
Well it wouldn't be much different than Hosha'ana Rabba in NY, would it, and many stay up on that night too.

There's a teshuva from the Chatam Sofer that suggests that even today, Gentiles cannot eat eggs. Will source soon BH

comment Who knows science?
Does madda necessarily mean "science' in the gemara, or can it just mean "wisdom"- i.e. philosophy and things like that too?

comment Is it forbidden for a woman to learn Gemara?
What if my posek is Rav Ovadia Yosef, or Rav Bentzion Abba-Shaul or Rav Ovadia Hadaya or Rav Yosef Kaphach or Rav Mordechai Eliyahu or Rav Ezra Attia or one of the many many many other poskim I may legitimately follow whose opinion you neglected? This isn't necessarily a psak halacha for me! Why is your answer any better than HachamGabriel's?
