comment What bracha do you make on smoothies?
@DoubleAA I think Rabenu Yeruham (the Rishon) holds like that.

You only make a Beracha if you can taste the food

comment Is the Beracha Aharona independent of the Beracha Rishona?
@DoubleAA I think I remember once a Talmid Hacham telling me that you should make a Beracha Aharona.

comment How big does a pentagonal Sukkah have to be?
Alright, I'm officially convinced that you need to learn math to understand certain concepts in Judaism.

comment Where does the concept of Gilgulim (reincarnations) in Judaism come from?
@Chalutzhanal I agree 100% I just didn't have the guts to say it without a Gadol on my side.

I just reread the Dirshu and it said the exact opposite.

Pretty much, the Hachamim received a tradition that some Melachot (לִישָׁה, אֲפִיָּה, שְׁחִיטָה וּבִשּׁוּל. וְהוֹצָאָה וְהַבְעָרָה ) are Mutar לְצֹרֶךְ אֹכֶל נֶפֶשׁ because they are included in the meaning of לְצֹרֶךְ אֹכֶל נֶפֶשׁ.(from the Kisur Shulhan Aruch).

comment Am I allowed to view a Kotel Cam on Shabbos?
Meikar Hadin, Hacham Yishak writes that it is Mutar to walk in a place where there are security cameras and the like.

comment What is the hetter for yeshivas to daven a Hoiche Kedusha?
I think it's more of a philosophic thing. Like to teach us that even the 5 minutes for Hazarat Hasha"tz could be used for learning.

comment What is the problem with dogs?
One of my Rabbis said that cats are more Tame than dogs actually.

comment Is it better to daven in a Minyan throughout the week or on Shabbos?
You have to weigh all the Miswot and whichever has more you should go to that one (my humble opinion).

comment Are there sources that any minute not learned Torah is a sin?
@Shraga you can use anything to serve Hashem and it's a very big Maala. And I wasn't talking about the Oilam of people I was talking about the Oilam of Sefarim (See Halacha Berura 155 where he brings many sources against the use of time for things other than Torah).

comment Mezuza in a room with a television
Jeffery, I didn't say having a Tv is inappropriate, I said if someone watches innappropriate things on a Tv then does he place a Mezuza on the door of the room where he watches Perisut?

comment Mezuza in a room with a television
Nothing to do with being Mekayem another Miswa, it's just that Perisut would invalidate the room from a Mezuza possibly.

Let me give you an example: if there is a blind person from birth and they hypnotize him to see his past. Suddenly he starts describing things with colors: how is this possible? It must be that you tapped into his previous life. @DoubleAA
