comment Did anointed kings of Israel have contact with their parents?
I think two sub-question would be: 1)as stated above when did Shlomo become king as it appears in the Pshat that he became king while David was still alive. 2)when did David become king? He was anointed by Shmuel/Hashem long before he was anointed by the people and it seems clear that he saw his father, and even lived with him after this initial anointing, so answering when he actually became king would be helpful in solidifying the answer.

comment The number of Challot on Shabbat and salt
Do you have a source that specifically says that it is a reminder Shabbat day and therefore, even though it is not historically accurate we should do it anyway?

comment Who distributed the zemiros across the three meals?
does this mean that if I sing Shabbat Day LUNCH songs at Friday night DINNER I may think I already finished Shabbat? Seems a bit of a reach to me.

comment Dolphins in the Sea
@SethJ except it may not have been that sea, if you look at a map that doesn't make much sense, it was probably more of a river, therefore dolphins don't follow.

@GershonGold I don't know the source, it was always just taught to me, maybe if someone knows the source they can add it to the question. I will try to find the source.

@downvote, care to explain why? I assume it is the science part of the question, but I would like to know for sure. Thanks.

comment Height of a mezuzah and children:
@msh210 I am not sure at the age you are talking about they will take it as a message that the mezzuzah can be lower, they will simply develop the habit of kissing it. They will be able to reach the real one soon enough and will want to because it is the grown up one. I am sure the low one could be taken down by age 6ish.

@DoubleAA completely agree, sorry I didn't put that in my answer. I will add it now.

comment Word for “bageling” someone as an Orthodox Jew?
@avi I can't upvote your comment enough, why is this even a question, it seems to me we should be working against this kind of thing, not promoting to it, or God for bid, adding to it.

comment Anyone who says these people sinned is mistaken. For real?
@jake Abarbanel does seem to agree at the beginning of his commentary, listing all the possible sins but then he goes through, and through the use of other commentators and his own shows that David possibly did not sin.

comment Brachot on Tzitzit
@msh210 according to the answer on the linked question the Tallit Katan is put on with a bracha and then when you go to shul the Tallit also gets a bracha. Therefore, why do we not say a bracha when re-dawning the Tallit Katan?

Then why the repetition of the language, wouldn't the last, all embracing express be enough?

comment The custom of adding a candle for each child
@msh210 After looking at that question (which didn't come up when I wrote the question) this seems much more specific and directed then that rather general question.

comment Dibur HaMatchil: Where did it come from
Just to play devil's advocate, that doesn't really mean it has to come from Rashi, it just means who ever wrote it can be learned from.

comment When was Moshe conceived?
Doesn't it seem a bit fast to have Moshe after that happened as not much extra time appears in other sections of this story? As well, isn't this a comment, not an answer?

Do you think that the book of Daniel being in Aramaic has any bearing or possible answer to this question?

comment HaGaon HaRav Asher Weiss Shelita and Techelet
Here is a list of audio lectures by Rav Weiss about Tzitzis. I must confess I did not listen to them all the way through and what I did hear did not mention Tachelet, but I still thought they might be interesting in this context. Enjoy. Rabbi Asher Weiss on TzitTzit Go to link, go to Bamidbar, Shlach, and there you will find the list of shiurim.
