My father reminded me that when we used to pray the Bet HaKenset of HaRav Dawid Yosef Shalit"a people used to walk in and say the Shemona Esre aloud until Kedusha and Hacham Dawid didn't protest. Also, my Rav, HaRav Mansour Shalit"a answered that it is permitted.
