Why the name Beer Sheva
The Posuk says:
וַיִּקְרָא אֹתָהּ שִׁבְעָה עַל כֵּן שֵׁם הָעִיר בְּאֵר שֶׁבַע עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה
Translated as:
And he named it Shibah; therefore, the city is named Beer sheba until this very day
