Has any godol today or even pre-war given an opinion if one should be learning kabala (not zohar) today

@Yishai thank you that is what I am looking for. I shall illustrate my question further. During davenning one is supposed to 'pass' through all the worlds and at the 'climax' reach the top one. Look at any kabala siddur. Can one today really 'feel' which of the four worlds one is in. – preferred Jun 20 '14 at 16:24
@sam I am referring to learning the main kabala sefer of the Ari. The 'eitz chaim' or its shortened versioned. The leshem (which is very much above my level although well written) is one of the few kabala seforim written just before the war. – preferred Jun 20 '14 at 16:27
