Note that this site is for answerable questions, not open-ended chat. What is it you want to know? Surely not whether anyone who sees this page has heard of such a custom. Is it whether the custom really exists? or its provenance? or its reasons? or... what? – msh210 May 23 '14 at 6:02
Pending clarification per my previous comment, I'm closing this. The question can easily be reopened once it's clarified. – msh210 May 25 '14 at 19:34
