Machshirin 2 consists of a long list of places where the halacha follows statistical rov, tipping towards the stringent side when the factor in question is 50-50. In general, such lists only contain one or two cases followed by "zeh haklal" but this time there was a rather long chapter's worth of cases and then the last mishna said only "מחצה על מחצה להחמיר" without "zeh haklal" implying the rule only applied to the immediately preceding case. Since the mishna is very formulaic it jumped out at me. Is anyone aware of a reason for this?
