To rephrase my question correctly and not to make it too broad: where can I find information about the direct ancestors of Rabbi Schneor Zalman Altshuler?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

This question would be answered more easily if you gave some information about Rabbi Altshuler; I found no mention of him in a Google search. Also, although judging by my search he is not too famous, if he does happen to be as famous or prolific as the subject of your other question, it's likely to be closed. – b a Dec 2 '12 at 22:15
thank you for your comment. rabbi altshuler was one of the first shluchim of the rebbe rashab. i also saw that the father of the tzemach tzedek shares the same last name. but can't find information between. – diana Dec 2 '12 at 22:21
