Can I say the prayers of Birkot HaShachar and Tikkun Chatzot after Chatzot (Midnight), even if I had not gone to sleep yet? How should I proceed with the Kriat Shema Al Hamitá if I will remain awake after midnight?

Thank you, I see only now your response. What motivates me in this is that if I pass the midnight I could not say the blessing (Baruch ata adonai eloheinu...) I would like to know if I can do the kriat Shema al hamita, and so after the midnight do the tikkun chatzot and birkot hashachar. – Nícolas Feb 28 at 17:21

Praying it before you sleep or after you sleep will give you the needed blesses from Allah. We call Qiyam before sleeping and Tahajud after sleeping. The best prayer is at the last third of night maybe 2 hours before dawn.

I believe you have the same in Judaism.

Hello Abu Omar. As a matter of fact, Judaism has it pretty different. There are different prayers for different times, and for some of them having slept or not does come in to account. – JNF Oct 14 '12 at 11:24
From I can see Qiyam and Tahajud do not have exact parallels in Judaism, but viewing the last third of the night as a good time for prayer certainly does. – Double AA♦ Oct 14 '12 at 13:48
