Is it proper to say hallel on Yom Ha'atzmaut? I know that its the day that state of Israel was created but was it good for the Jews? since the state was created, the people in charge of education are not shomrei torah u'mitzvos and the public schools don't teach torah. Its a JEWISH state - and they are ANTI- torah?!?! Is that a good thing?

This seems, particularly in its tone, to be intended more as a discussion topic than as a question that would have an objective answer. Please rephrase or move to ani.yodeya. –  Isaac Moses Jan 3 '10 at 4:50
