I was looking online for a list of people famous for deciding or influencing halacha, who currently wear Ptil Techelet Techelet. However I could not find one.

Does such a list exist? If not, could someone provide a list here?

Update:

It seems that this page here "might" have a list of "famous" people who wear techelet, but I can't tell exactly. Certainly some of the rabbis in the halacha section say that you don't have to wear techelet, and they themselves don't. tekhelet.com/pub.htm However, there is too much nuance there for me to get a list from it, easily.

If anyone has a suggestion for criteria of "famous" let me know. It's not subjective, just hard for me to define. – avi Jan 4 at 17:09

Well, if you count me... – Seth J Jan 4 at 17:33
@avi are you looking for an official list? – Hacham Gabriel Jan 5 at 1:51
@HachamGabriel I don't know what would be official about it. But a collection of "I saw Rav X wearing techelet at this and this wedding" would be just fine. or "Rav Y is known to wear techelet" also works. – avi Jan 5 at 6:59

I think we should give all the Rabbis on the list the same honorifics. This is not a question where we need to debate which rabbi is greater than another and we can avoid issues arising between us by standardizing it. I will do this later if no one objects. – Double AA Jan 9 at 14:50

@DoubleAA, good idea, and I think "Rabbi" before and nothing after would be most appropriate. Everyone, in any case where you have a source for your assertion, please put it into the body of the post. – Isaac Moses Jan 9 at 15:44

@HachamGabriel, I think it's excessive for a list like this, crowding out the information with meta-information. FTR, I hope that all of these rabbis live long, good lives. – Isaac Moses Jan 9 at 15:59

I took care of the honorific-unifying, linked their names to bios where I could find them, and added source links to the forward article. Please try to include bio links and source (that they wear techeilet) if you've got them. – Isaac Moses Jan 9 at 16:00

@HachamGabriel It's the same thing: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexaplex_trunculus – Double AA Apr 29 at 5:58
