We used to sing a zemiroh, I believe by Rabbi Yehudah HaLevi, which started, על אהבתך אשתה גביעי. This zemiroh does not appear in current zemiros books. (1) Do you have an online text of it? (2) Why has it fallen out of favour?

+1. Re "This zemiroh does not appear in current zemiros books": Have you checked S'faradi ones? They have many z'miros (pizmonim, as they call them) that Ashk'nazim don't tend to. – msh210♦ Oct 31 '11 at 18:42

@Dave, I've usually heard zemer used to refer to one of them and z'miros for more, but I guess the singular of z'miros would have to be z'mira (like chakira, y'shiva, asiya, etc.), with zemer being a different noun. (The plural of zemer would, I suppose, be z'marim (like y'ladim, b'gadim, etc.) or possibly z'maros (for which I think there are analogues, too, though I can't think of one right now). – msh210♦ Oct 31 '11 at 20:28
